The ice was so vocal that I had to spend more time capturing the scene as the sun set over the frozen pond. On Cape Cod, lakes are called kettle ponds from their ice age creation, and Long Pond is one of the largest. This short fly over with my backup Mavic Air drone is a masterpiece of technology and easily meets my professional aerial photography needs at a reasonable price. There are so many over-priced drones on the market that pale in comparison. The primary issue are the upgrades. Eventually, the folks at DJI build in obsolescence and the app stops working - forcing users to upgrade and pitch a perfectly awesome drone platform. With the launch and push of the Mavic Air 2, I am already seeing a drop in connectivity and performance issues.
